We are seeking a skilled and ambitious R&D Associate to contribute to our growing, fast-paced Research & Development team. If you thrive in a collaborative environment where science meets real-world impact, this is your chance to make a difference.

  • Lead & Execute Experiments – Perform tests and analyze results to drive innovation and product improvements.
  • Hands-On Lab Work – Operate lab equipment, perform sample testing, and contribute to research publications or technical documentation.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting – Define, enter, track, and trend data using tools like Excel, ClickUp, and PowerBI to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Innovate & Problem Solve – Assist in the design control process from concept to commercialization, contributing to protocol development, risk assessments, and validation studies.

Responsibilities You Will Own:

As an R&D Associate, you will play a critical role in product development, testing, and driving research that shapes the future of dental safety.

  • Extended periods of time in a laboratory configuring test methods and running experiments.
  • Work autonomously under pressure and effectively communicate with peers.
  • Contribute to technical presentations, protocol writing, and drafting reports.
  • Comply with all safety guidelines (laboratory, equipment, and material handling).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or related) or 5 years of applicable hands-on experience.
  • 2-5 years of applicable experience.
  • Experience in laboratory testing, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret results and identify trends.
  • Comfortability working with BSL-2 level organisms and following safety protocols.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs (equipment and supplies).

Desired:

  • Experience with FDA medical device regulations, design control, and ISO 13485.
  • Knowledge of water testing techniques (Flow Cytometry, HPC, etc.).
  • Experience in product development, verification & validation, and regulatory submissions.


Benefits:

  • Starting salary is $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience
