We’re seeking a Business Development Assistant to support our donor engagement efforts and fuel our mission of strategic, high-impact philanthropy. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to coordinate external meetings, manage CRM systems, and ensure a seamless experience for prospective and current donors.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Development Assistant plays a critical role in advancing both revenue growth and operational excellence at NCF. This highly organized and detail-oriented professional will support all facets of business development for two executives focused on attracting new donors. In addition to managing CRM systems, tracking prospect and donor activity, and coordinating onboarding logistics, the Associate will serve as a key liaison for planning and executing board and committee meetings.

The ideal candidate is a polished and professional communicator who thrives in a client-service and sales-driven environment. They will coordinate external meetings with centers of influence—such as attorneys, accountants, and financial advisors—alongside prospective and existing donors. This individual must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, effectively manage multiple calendars, and ensure timely and strategic follow-up that supports high-touch, relationship-based engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Support business development by maintaining the CRM, tracking COI engagement, prospect, and donor activity, and coordinating onboarding paperwork, documentation, and timely follow-up.

  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, including client engagements and leadership presentations.
  • Provide sales operations support by tracking sales and outreach metrics and generating regular performance reports for leadership.
  • Assist with prospect and advisor communications, proposal development, and other outreach efforts with discretion and professionalism.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure high-touch, client-centered engagement at every stage of the relationship lifecycle.
  • Serve as Board Liaison by coordinating with the CEO and leadership team to schedule, prepare for, and document Board and Committee meetings, including agenda management, calendar invites, material preparation, and follow-up communication.
  • Maintain and update internal tracking systems, ensuring accurate records and seamless workflow across teams.
  • Coordinate and execute through completion advisor, prospect, and donor events.

Reporting Structure and Location:
This position reports directly to the Chief Development & Relationship Officer and indirectly to the CEO. It is a full-time, in-office role based at our Summerlin location in Las Vegas, NV.

Qualifications:

  • College degree or 2+ years of experience in business development/sales support or client service— preferably in a financial services, professional services or other sales-driven environment.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A polished and professional demeanor. A client-first mindset and comfort in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word. Blackbaud platforms (Raisers Edge, Financial Edge) experience a plus.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Salary: $55,000 - $75,000
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Office
