We are a local, dynamic vacation rental management company in Ventura County looking to add one more great teammate to our small, hardworking crew.

If you enjoy being out and about instead of stuck in an office, take pride in details, and like the energy of hospitality, this role may be a great fit. We manage beautiful beach homes, work hard, move fast, and support each other. It’s a physical job and can be mentally demanding at times—but working near the beach with a great team makes it worth it.

Guest Services & Property Readiness Responsibilities

  • Ensure vacation rental homes are fully stocked and guest-ready before arrivals
  • Conduct detailed inspections, including:
    • Furniture placement and overall styling
    • Linens brushed and in good condition
    • Kitchen items, pots, and pans in proper shape
    • Shampoo and soap dispensers filled
    • General presentation and readiness
  • Use company mobile apps to:
    • Track inspections and tasks
    • Monitor guest sentiment
    • Manage schedules and daily operations
  • Communicate with the team to resolve issues efficiently

Job Requirements (Please Review Carefully)

  • Physical role
    • Stairs in most homes
    • Carrying boxes and supplies
    • Light furniture assembly
    • Occasional mopping, lifting, and moving items
  • Must live in Ventura County
    • Ventura / Oxnard / Camarillo
    • Must be within 15 minutes of the neighborhoods for on-call coverage
  • On-call availability
    • Several days per week
    • After-hours or holiday emergencies (rare, but required)
  • Positive, resilient attitude
    • Small team, all-hands mentality
    • No task is “not my job”
    • Calm under pressure
    • Comfortable interacting with the public
    • Happy without an office-based role
  • Transportation
    • Company vehicle provided for most shifts
    • Personal vehicle required when multiple team members are working
    • Mileage reimbursement provided when using your own vehicle
  • Tech-savvy
    • Comfortable using smartphone apps and cloud-based tools
    • Training provided, but you must have a natural ability to learn and use technology
  • Schedule & flexibility
    • 24/7 hospitality operation
    • Holidays are the busiest time of year
    • Guest check-out: 11:00 AM | Check-in: 4:00 PM
    • Availability required during those windows on working days
    • Major holidays are typically unscheduled—but on-call coverage is required

Guest Relations

  • Ability to step in when automated systems need a human touch
  • Calm, confident problem-solving with guests
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills

Social Media Experience

  • Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook
  • Opportunity to contribute during slower seasons with creative or company-support projects
