Pay: $30 - 38 per hour on W2
Duration: 10 month contract

Job Description:

Follows a selected number of clearly defined procedures under general guidance. Handles inquiries of moderate scope and complexity. Assists with administering and providing training and certification programs. Analyzes and recommends appropriate training materials, training programs, and vendors. Utilizes advanced database management skills to provide summary analysis reports to management.
The employee primarily uses administrative skills to monitor data, interpret and apply policies, or produce standard reports. Also required are interpersonal, communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Publishes and maintains on-line learning platforms.

1. Follows a variety of clearly defined procedures under general guidance. Works independently, although the scope for discretion is limited and the output is reviewed periodically while in progress. The work priorities are defined with the manager/supervisor.
2. Uses training theories and practices to provide guidance and/or training, as well as leading for change, to support level co-workers within the same or job-related work group.
3. Handles inquiries of moderate scope and complexity. Uses basic analytical skills to interpret information, examine variables, draw conclusions, and assess alternative methods. Most complex problem solving may require the use of increased judgment to handle some variations in conditions or operations, making decisions based on selecting from alternative courses of action using greater adaptation to circumstances when necessary.
4. Decisions or actions may impact the operational effectiveness of work operations, schedules, or performance goals.
5. Work tasks typically encompass concepts within one discipline/practice within one department/ location.

Working tasks might include:

  • Evaluates, drafts, and edits operating procedure manuals and in-house training materials to improve work techniques and the quality of work in assigned business unit or plant. Monitors proper documenting procedures and adheres to corporate safety guidelines and external regulations.
    Communicates and interacts with vendors to execute contracts, agreements, timelines, etc. Monitors, administers, and ensures training schedules are met. May make recommendations and occasionally may assist with the selection of training materials and vendors.
  • May maintain supply of training materials.
  • Monitors vendor budget to ensure costs are within approved guidelines.
