- Competitive Compensation: $33.00-$54.00 per hour, dependent on licenses held and experience, including overtime pay and sign-on bonus
- Level I: $33.00-37.00 per hour
- Level II: $38.00-44.00 per hour
- Level III: $45.00-54.00 per hour
Position Overview: As an HVAC Installation & Service Tech, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. You will play a key role in ensuring customer comfort and satisfaction by providing expert service, troubleshooting system issues, and recommending solutions to optimize system performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience Level:
- Journeyperson – Level I: Experience of 0-3 years with D2/S2 license (~4-7 years total); Able to do some service work independently.
- Journeyperson – Level II: Experience of 4-6 years w/ S2 license (~8-10 years total); Confident with installations, light service, and lead smaller jobs; includes work with conventional 2-20-ton HVAC and small boilers.
- Journeyperson – Level III: Experience of 7+ years w/ S2 license (~11+ years total); Confident with full install jobs, handle complex tasks, and dealing with clients; includes work with VRF, conventional 2–100-ton HVAC, and boilers up to 10M BTU.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC training program at a technical school or through an apprenticeship.
- Certifications: EPA Section 608 Certification required; NATE and OSHA certifications are a plus.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
- Communication: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Licenses: S2, D2; Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
