Salary Rate: $100,000 - $130,000
Position Overview
We are seeking an estimator to create bid packages on commercial plumbing projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients. This role involves coordinating with various parties in a construction setting, optimizing processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial plumbing projects, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to identify scope and requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project details and resolve discrepancies
- Develop bid proposals and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
- Track project costs and provide ongoing support during execution to maintain budget accuracy
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial plumbing systems, codes, and standards
- Proven experience in plumbing estimation or related construction estimating roles
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
