Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a licensed school psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services at a high school setting. The role requires working full-time (37.5 hours per week) on-site to support student evaluations and interventions within a bilingual evaluation team. The contract duration is from ASAP through June 12, 2026.
Location:
- High school in Bear, DE
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to develop intervention plans
- Participate actively in bilingual evaluation team meetings and report writing
- Provide counseling and consultation services to support students academic and emotional success
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding psychological services in schools
Qualifications:
- Current Delaware school psychologist licensure is required (please provide proof with application)
- Experience working in school settings preferred, especially with high school-aged students
- Bilingual skills are essential to support the bilingual evaluation team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff
- Ability to maintain confidential records and produce detailed reports
