We are looking for a Senior ERP / IT Systems Engineer to lead the development, integration, and optimization of our enterprise technology stack, including ERP, construction software platforms, and IT infrastructure.

Position Summary

The Senior ERP / IT Systems Engineer is responsible for managing and advancing the company’s core business systems, with a focus on ERP administration, integrations, reporting, and infrastructure reliability.

This individual will be a key technical leader, working across operations, accounting, field management, and executive teams to ensure our systems meet business needs and scale with growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration, customization, and optimization of the ERP system (e.g., Viewpoint Spectrum or other construction ERP platforms).
  • Design and implement integrations between ERP, construction management tools, timekeeping, estimating, and reporting systems.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision making for field and office operations.
  • Act as primary technical liaison between IT, accounting, operations, and third-party vendors.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and workflows across platforms with a strong focus on security and compliance.
  • Coordinate IT infrastructure upgrades including server, networking, and cloud solutions to ensure business continuity and performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving ERP modules, integrations, or system performance.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on ERP functionality and IT best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for system automation and process improvement.
  • Ensure data integrity, backups, and disaster recovery planning for mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP systems administration or engineering, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as Viewpoint Spectrum.
  • Strong understanding of database systems (SQL), API integrations, and business analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with construction field technology.
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure including servers, networking, Active Directory, and cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams (Bilingual is a plus)
  • Project management experience and ability to lead ERP-related initiatives end-to-end.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and a proactive, service-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Construction industry experience strongly preferred.

Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in enterprise environments
