Support an elementary education program as a paraprofessional in a dynamic school setting located in Saint Paul, MN. This contract position runs from November 24, 2025, through June 4, 2026, requiring 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The role involves working closely with elementary students to provide essential classroom assistance and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering instructional activities tailored to elementary students
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Support classroom management and student behavior monitoring
- Collaborate with educators and staff to implement customized learning plans
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must meet highly qualified paraprofessional status by one of two options: Pass the Minnesota Para Educator Exam Complete at least 60 college credits (transcripts required)
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team
- Commitment to student growth and development
Additional Information:
- The position will transition to direct hire status after 120 days of contracting
