Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher serving K-12 students within a cooperative educational setting in New Castle, IN. The position involves working with a severe caseload, supporting 10 students alongside a team of six paraprofessionals. The role is contracted for the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to the individual needs of students with severe disabilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, general education staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress, document observations, and adapt strategies to achieve educational goals.
