Position Summary:

We are seeking a Skilled Chemical Machine Operator to join our team at a leading chemical manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will operate and monitor chemical processing equipment with precision and care, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production in accordance with company standards and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor various types of chemical processing equipment (e.g., mixers, reactors, centrifuges, packaging lines).

• Follow detailed batch records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.

• Accurately measure, weigh, and load raw materials into processing equipment.

• Monitor chemical reactions, equipment pressures, temperatures, and flow rates, adjusting controls as necessary.

• Perform in-process quality checks and record production data accurately.

• Troubleshoot machinery issues and escalate complex problems to maintenance or supervisors.

• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and compliant workspace.

• Handle and store hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA and company safety regulations.

• Assist in inventory control and raw material staging.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Must have Experience in a Chemical processing

• Must have at least 5 years of experience.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and safety data sheets (SDS).

• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in hot/cold or humid environments
