About Us:
The Hacienda Hotel - Best Western Plus Old Town is a charming 200-room, multi-building property located in the heart of San Diego's historic Old Town. Spanning 4.5 beautifully landscaped acres, our hotel features nine unique buildings, three versatile meeting rooms, a relaxing pool, and a restaurant with stunning views of the city skyline. As the newest member of the WS Management family, we are passionate about elevating guest experiences through innovation, hospitality, and excellence in service.

Position Overview:
We're looking for a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll be the face of the Hacienda Hotel-welcoming travelers, answering questions, handling check-ins/outs, and creating memorable experiences. In addition to guest interactions, you'll help keep your assigned building (including lobby and front desk areas) clean, tidy, and inviting at all times.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a guest-facing role, takes pride in their workspace, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team dedicated to service and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check guests in and out with warmth and professionalism.

Process payments, verify IDs, and manage reservations with accuracy.

Assist guests with questions about the hotel, local attractions, and services.

Respond to guest requests, concerns, and complaints in a helpful, timely manner.

Maintain the front desk, lobby, and assigned department building in a clean and welcoming condition throughout your shift.

Partner with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms and public spaces are guest-ready.

Accurately complete shift reports and communicate important handoff details.

Support fellow team members and maintain a positive team environment.

Qualifications:

Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.

Strong verbal communication and computer skills.

Positive attitude with a guest-first mindset.

Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting light items (up to 30 lbs).

Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required.
