Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to support students' educational and emotional needs within a K-12 school environment. This full-time contract position is based in Newport, TN, and involves working across the district to provide psychological services to students.
Qualifications:
- Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- Current state certification or licensure in School Psychology.
- Experience conducting evaluations and developing IEPs.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
- Ability to provide counseling and support to students and staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students needs and strengths.
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Provide training and resources to staff on mental health and educational practices.
