Position: Full-Time Montessori Teacher
Start Date: December 2025/January 2026
Location: Highland Hills Montessori
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain an inviting, orderly, and developmentally appropriate Montessori classroom environment
- Present Montessori lessons in accordance with training and the needs of each child
- Observe students daily to inform individualized instruction
- Foster a peaceful, respectful classroom community
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall mission of the school
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
Qualifications
- Montessori certification from AMI 3-6 or willingness to work as the lead assistant with sponsored certification
- Experience working in a Montessori environment preferred
- Strong classroom management skills grounded in Montessori philosophy
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- A warm, positive, and patient demeanor
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
