We’re hiring Transit Train Technicians to help maintain the automated trains that transport thousands of passengers every day. If you’ve rebuilt engines, handled electrical or hydraulic repairs, or solved complex mechanical issues, we want to train you to apply those skills to transit systems.
We welcome candidates with both professional and hobby-related mechanical experience. Whether you’ve worked in a shop, on heavy equipment, or built and repaired vehicles at home, your skills and passion for hands-on repair can help you succeed in this role.
What You’ll Do
• Diagnose and repair systems for automated trains
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems using advanced diagnostic tools
• Perform component replacements
• Conduct inspections to ensure reliability and safety of the people mover system
• Collaborate with a skilled maintenance team keeping transit service running 24/7
What We’re Looking For
• Hands-on repair experience (engine rebuilds, drivetrains, heavy equipment, or advanced automotive work)
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting background
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass a federal background check for airport badging clearance
