CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates in the development and design of clinical education materials, including presentations, workflows, policies and procedures, as directed by the Clinical Programs Manager.
- Delivers onboarding and annual training presentations to ensure consistent clinical education across primary care departments.
- Conducts annual competency audits within assigned primary care departments to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Utilizes various education principles and learning techniques to deploy training including instruction and support of go-to-trainers at least annually and as needed.
- Operationalizes approved clinical processes for frontline staff.
- Maintains accurate documentation of clinical staff training, certifications, and competencies with timely communication of expectations and deadlines to managers and go-to-trainers.
- Researches and synthesizes current clinical guidelines and best practices published by various evidence-based sources.
- Integrates Lean Six Sigma principles into the design implementation of clinical processes.
- Provides additional training and guidance to clinical staff as needed to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Promotes interprofessional collaboration and teamwork among departments to enhance patient care.
- Maintains the organization of clinical resources and workflows on the Intranet.
- Demonstrates knowledge of department protocols, policies and procedures
- Maintains strict confidentiality in alignment with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) guidelines and InterMed policies.
- Perform other duties to support the mission, vision and values of InterMed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Education:
- BSN from an accredited institution
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience preferred
- Experience in clinical training preferred
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications, electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred
- License/Certifications:
- Unencumbered active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Maine
- BLS required
