Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support students learning and classroom activities as a Paraprofessional in an educational setting located in Redding, CA. This contract position offers meaningful work assisting teachers and supporting student success in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers by assisting with instructional activities and classroom management
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning concepts
- Assist with preparing educational materials and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Help students with special needs, adapting instructions to meet individual requirements
- Monitor student behavior and provide feedback to teachers and staff
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with teachers and school staff
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and dedication to supporting diverse student populations
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with school personnel
- Basic knowledge of classroom technology and educational tools
- Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere

This contract job provides the opportunity to impact student learning while gaining valuable experience in education. Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.
Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $48.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
