Position Overview
The Traveling Superintendent will oversee the construction, renovation, and maintenance of gas station facilities across various locations. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing project budgets, and leading teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gas station operations and a proven track record of successful project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction and renovation projects for gas stations from inception to completion.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety and regulatory standards.
- Oversee site supervision and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
- Develop and maintain positive client relations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address and resolve any issues or problems that arise on-site promptly.
- Procure necessary equipment and materials for projects.
- Lead and mentor project teams to foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in gas station operations.
- Proven experience in safety compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Strong skills in budget management and financial oversight.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Solid client relations and communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience with quality control and inspection processes.
- Familiarity with vendor management and procurement processes.
