Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Onancock, VA. Serving a K-12 school setting, this role offers the opportunity to support a diverse student population across 2-3 school sites. The caseload includes students aged 2-22, divided among four school psychologists, with an average of 4600 students total. The contract runs from August 20, 2025, through June 16, 2026, with a work schedule of 37.5 hours per week, five days a week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychological testing and assessments
  • Writing comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Determining student eligibility for special education services
  • Collaborating with educators and families to support student needs

Qualifications:

  • Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S.)
  • Virginia certification for School Psychologists
  • National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) membership or credentialing preferred

This position is not open to virtual contractors; in-person presence at the school sites is required. Interviews are available starting Thursday of the next week.
