  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.

  • Inspect electrical components for damage, wear, or heat stress, and document findings.

  • Use electrical test equipment (multimeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes) and hand tools safely and effectively.

  • Support software validation after reassembly to ensure sensors, actuators, and communication networks are functional.

  • Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc flash safety, electrical enclosure access, and quality procedures at all times.

Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.

  • Document work performed, wire run lists, and any red-line changes made to schematics.

  • Collaborate with equipment engineers, maintenance staff, and production teams to meet schedules and objectives.

  • Strong understanding of AC/DC circuits, 3-phase power distribution, and control systems.

Experience with industrial wiring and control panel building.

  • Ability to read and follow complex electrical schematics and technical manuals.

  • Familiarity with electrical measurement tools (multimeters, amp probes, circuit tracers).

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and kneeling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or Automation.

  • Experience working with PLC and robot hardware (Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Omron, Fanuc, Siemens) and VFDs.

  • Knowledge of industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET) and sensor calibration.

  • Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

  • High level of manual dexterity and attention to detail regarding wire terminations and labeling.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
