Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time or part-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Liberty, TX, serving a K-12 public school setting. This contract position runs from August 8, 2025, to May 21, 2026, supporting a diverse caseload focused on student evaluations and individualized educational planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and testing for students across K-12 grade levels
- Prepare detailed reports outlining assessment findings and recommendations
- Participate actively in Eligibility and ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings to support student placement decisions
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention plans
- Consult with school staff to promote positive student outcomes and mental health supports
Qualifications:
- Current and active School Psychologist license in Texas is required
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong working relationships within the school community
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to address student needs
