Job DescriptionChemical Compounder/Material Handler 1st Shift
Location: Somerset, NJ
Pay Rate: $25-$27 per hour (Depending on experience)
Monday-Friday 1st Shift

Leading flavor manufacturer located in Somerset, NJ is in need of a Compounder to join the team on the 1st shift.

Duties:

• Responsible for retrieving ingredients accurately measuring ingredients using scales, mixing various ingredients/chemicals
• Production manufacturing
• Identifying ingredients that require dilution and diluting appropriately and recording raw materials usage.
• Maintains quality standards by verifying weight and contents of raw materials
• Add raw materials and follow the formula requirements to complete production orders using equipment such as mixers, spray dryers and blending tanks.
• Must follow standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes, chemicals, and other substances into the equipment.
• Check for consistency in various batches and measure the viscosity of the mixtures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Compounding manufacturing experience
