Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Production Manager / Estimator to join our team. This hybrid role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day landscape project operations while also preparing accurate cost estimates for new work. The right candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading crews efficiently. For individuals with strong communication skills and ambition, this role also offers the opportunity to grow into sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule daily operations for installation and maintenance crews.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Prepare accurate estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to confirm pricing and availability.
- Support client communication, including explaining estimates and project progress.
- Assist in proposal preparation and follow-up with potential clients.
- Provide leadership, training, and support to field staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or project management preferred.
- Strong estimating, math, and organizational skills.
- Leadership ability with experience directing teams.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in basic computer programs (Excel, estimating or scheduling software a plus).
- Motivated, reliable, and interested in future sales opportunities.
