Job Overview
In the capacity of a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, design, permitting, and construction management of civil engineering projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating plans, specifications, cost estimates, and budgets for municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities.
- Employing engineering design software to produce plans, drawings, and models in line with project requirements.
- Leading engineering design projects from inception to completion.
- Conducting meetings with client board members and delivering monthly progress updates.
- Supervising construction progress and providing on-site support and oversight.
- Handling construction administration duties, including reviewing submittals and RFIs, assessing progress payments, and ensuring compliance.
- Evaluating water/wastewater facilities for adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, and suggesting improvements.
- Interacting with community members, government representatives, and stakeholders to convey project objectives and gather feedback.

Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering (or an equivalent ABET-accredited program)
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in civil engineering design and construction; experience in water/wastewater projects is preferred
- Experience in managing tasks or projects
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) designation is required
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred or must be obtained post-hire
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
- Proficiency in engineering design software, such as Civil 3D
- Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software
- Understanding of engineering planning studies
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
