Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support essential educational activities as a paraprofessional in an elementary school setting, contributing to the development and success of young learners. This contract position runs from late November 2025 through early June 2026, Monday through Friday, with a workweek totaling 32.5 hours. The role is located in the Andover, MN area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with instructional tasks and classroom management.
- Provide individual and small group support to students.
- Help implement lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Support students with special needs to enhance their educational experience.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Must meet highly qualified paraprofessional standards via one of the following methods: Successfully pass the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Para Exam. Possess at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required).
- Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged children.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Resume and highly qualified documentation must be submitted with the application.
- Candidate will be asked to become a direct hire with the district after 120 days of contracting.
