Our client is seeking an experienced Anaplan Model Builder/Developer to design, build, and optimize Anaplan models supporting incentive compensation, revenue planning, performance reporting, and financial forecasting. This role partners closely with Finance, IT, and Data teams to deliver integrated, scalable solutions across the enterprise.

Contract Duration: 6 months (Potential to convert to full‑time) W2

Responsibilities:

Model Design & Development

  • Ensure models follow best practices and support end‑to‑end business processes.
  • Build and enhance Anaplan models, modules, lists, dashboards, and data integrations.
  • Lead new model implementations and optimize existing models for performance and scalability.

Business Partnership & Requirements

  • Challenge assumptions and improve sub‑optimal manual processes.
  • Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and incentive compensation workflows.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Maintenance, Testing & Support

  • Perform testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Provide ongoing support to end‑users and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Maintain documentation for models, processes, and configurations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with Anaplan platform enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, integrate, and improve user experience.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise systems.

Qualifications/Must Haves:

  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on Anaplan experience.
  • Ability to design integrated, end‑to‑end Anaplan solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Minimum 3 full implementations focused on incentive compensation and revenue models.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills:

  • Anaplan Certified Model Builder (or higher)
  • Experience in insurance or financial services.
  • Experience in large, complex enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and advanced Excel.
