Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Parksley, VA is seeking one School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position involves working 37.5 hours per week, five days a week, from August 20, 2025, through June 16, 2026.
The psychologist will serve a caseload covering 11 schools and approximately 4,600 students, with the caseload shared among four school psychologists. The age range for students served is 2 to 22 years old, across 2 to 3 school sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological testing and assessments
- Writing detailed evaluation reports
- Determining eligibility for special education services
Qualifications required:
- Ed.S. degree in school psychology or related field
- Valid Virginia certification as a school psychologist
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred
Interviews will be conducted on Thursdays and the following week. This role is not open to virtual contractors.
