PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR

Town of Hartford
Public Works Director

Oversee highway, water, wastewater, and solid
waste divisions; Supervise 30+ employees

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and administer annual operating and
capital budgets

- Plan short- and long-term development and
maintenance needs

- Direct operations, ensure regulatory compliance,
and manage construction projects

- Liaise with local, state, and federal agencies

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in related field

- 10+ years of progressive managerial experience,
including 5+ in municipal/public works

Salary Range: $96,033 to $134,388
Full-time, exempt position;
