Key Responsibilities

<li>Reading construction plans, performing quantity takeoffs, and tracking daily execution progress.</li>
<li>Leading and overseeing equipment operators and laborers executing demolition, earthwork, and underground utility projects.</li>
<li>Assisting with building and scheduling crews by matching staff capabilities and availability to project needs.</li>
<li>Ensuring compliance with safety plans and project quality requirements.</li>
<li>Following project plans, specifications, field procedures, processes and safety protocols to comply with company-, and client-specific requirements and applicable regulations.</li>
<li>Interacting appropriately, responsibly, and positively with coworkers, client representatives, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors.&nbsp; </li>
<li>Consistently arriving on time, providing clear instructions, maintaining a positive attitude, actively collaborating with colleagues, assuming responsibility for all assigned tasks, and upholding company policies and ethical standards.</li>
<li>Resolving personnel- or project-related conflicts that may arise during the execution of work. </li>
<li>Operating heavy equipment or supporting general labor tasks, as needed, to maintain project progress when additional support is required.</li>
<li>Supporting management with non-project related initiatives aimed at improving construction operations.</li>
<li>Reporting to job sites as directed. Travel&nbsp;and work at remote locations requiring out-of-town stays for periods of a few days to several weeks at a time may be required.</li>

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
<ul>
<li>7+ years of demonstrated success leading construction crews as a foreman or other supervisory role.&nbsp; Pay commensurate with knowledge, capabilities, and experience.</li>
<li>Ability to safely and effectively manage a crew of 3 to 10 workers performing a variety of general construction activities.</li>
<li>Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Effective verbal communication and comprehension skills.</li>
<li>Consistent professionalism and positivity.</li>
<li>Ability and willingness to work effectively in a team environment.</li>
<li>Ability to pass pre-employment and annual physicals, including alcohol/drug screening.</li>
<li>Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li>
<li>HAZWOPER 40-hour training preferred.</li>
<li>Experience operating various types of heavy equipment and performing a variety of labor tasks preferred.</li>

Job Overview
Were looking for a Superintendent with strong experience leading K-12 or education-focused construction. Youll be the on-site leader responsible for planning, sequencing, and overseeing day-to-day field operations. Your leadership will drive safe, high-quality work and ensure an exceptional experience for school district partners, architects, trade contractors, and our internal team.
 
What Youll Do
<ul>
<li>Supervise, train, and mentor field labor, including craft workers and laborers</li>
<li>Lead by example with professionalism, time management, communication, and client service</li>
<li>Ensure field work is executed safely, with quality, and in alignment with schedule</li>
<li>Participate in preconstruction services, including constructability reviews and project planning</li>
<li>Coordinate site activities and maintain strong communication with Project Managers, clients, and crews</li>
<li>Prepare and manage CPM schedules and detailed look-ahead plans</li>
<li>Oversee daily and weekly reports, inspections, testing, and safety compliance</li>
<li>Monitor project costs and productivity, including labor and materials tracking</li>
</ul>

Preferred Qualifications:

<li>Proven track record managing ground-up projects (K-12, higher ed, etc.)</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of craft functions and union contracts</li>
<li>Experience with Procore and Primavera P6 (preferred)</li>
<li>OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR certification</li>
<li>Junior college or vocational education background a plus</li>
<li>Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, safety, and mentoring future leaders</li>
</ul>
