Position Summary
The Pilates Instructor delivers safe, effective, and inspiring group classes in alignment with Club Pilates standards and teaching methodology. This role fosters a welcoming and empowering environment for members of all levels while upholding the highest standards of form, safety, and client care. This role is compensated between $16.50-18.04/hour (depending on studio) plus a commission and bonus structure. 
Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)
<ul>
<li>Providing Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards</li>
<li>Instructing clients (up to 12 clients per class) using proper form and safe methods on a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, hand weights, etc. to ensure a safe, yet creative experience</li>
<li>Conducting private, semi-private, demo or other additional sessions as needed</li>
<li>Visually inspecting the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use</li>
<li>Maintaining a clean and orderly workout environment</li>
<li>Assisting with membership sales and checking clients in</li>
<li>Building studio revenue by promoting retail and membership sales &amp; services</li>
<li>Being a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life. </li>
</ul>
Qualifications &amp; Skills
<ul>
<li>Current full apparatus Pilates Certification with 450 hours of experience or equivalent</li>
<li>Experience teaching group classes</li>
<li>Ability to demonstrate effective group reformer instruction</li>
<li>Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style</li>
<li>Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises</li>
<li>Punctual, reliable and dedicated</li>
<li>Desire to build a successful business in an entrepreneurial environment</li>
<li>Focus on customer service, including professional and effective communication skills</li>
<li>Experience with club management software and/or the ability to learn new systems</li>

Compensation &amp; Benefits

The range listed reflects the good-faith hourly or salary range the employer reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. The actual rate offered may depend on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. WomanWorx a division of Minnesota Women’s Care is seeking a dynamic, organized, and responsible Pilates Instructor to join our growing team in our Pelvic Floor and Women’s Fitness Center.
This position will work closely with a team of physical therapists, chiropractors, and exercise experts to work with women of all ages and stages of life. Specifically, those with pelvic floor dysfunction like prolapse, urinary incontinence, prenatal, post-natal and those with weight loss goals 
<ul>
<li>Work in a multi-disciplinary team of experts to put develop safe and effective Pilates workouts, specific to the client’s needs</li>
<li>Teach Group Pilates Reformer classes (5:1)</li>
<li>Teach Group Mat Pilates </li>
<li>Develop, safe, professional, and comprehensive programs for our patients/members. </li>
<li>Monitor and instruct clients during training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment</li>
<li>Ability to modify and adapt instruction based on students’ physical needs</li>
<li>Promotes and sells Pilates classes, fitness memberships, personal training and group training to members</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
 
<ul>
<li>Certified in Pilates Reformer </li>
<li>Additional fitness certification from accredited agencies preferred</li>
<li>Understanding of anatomy and importance of proper alignment and safe movement practices</li>
<li>Experience working with clinical and non-clinical populations</li>
<li>Team oriented and willing to sub for peer instructors when needed</li>
<li>CPR &amp; AED certifications</li>
<li>Must be friendly, approachable, positive, and genuine</li>
<li>Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class</li>
