RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the overall treatment component of the program and ensure the provision of treatment services in both the treatment and work release phases of the program. Assist in the development and implementation of in-service training components and staff development.
SCOPE OF DUTIES:

<li>Ensure the provision of direct services to all clients entering the program: •Quality assurance of initial assessments and their relationship to the development of service plans for all residents. •Ensure clients are referred to appropriate services. •Provide group programs. •Model appropriate group delivery to new coaches. •Mentor new coaches in their delivery of group programs.</li>
<li>Conduct team and individual meetings with the core curriculum coach to •Provide training. •Provide clinical supervision of program delivery. •Ensure progress notes related to the program delivery are completed timely and accurately. •Ensure that pre and post-assessments and client satisfaction surveys are completed. •Develop a schedule for coaches to facilitate groups in a timely fashion.</li>
<li>Conduct clinical reviews, as needed with all case managers on the problem or special needs residents.</li>
<li>Assist Directors in the development and implementation of an in-service training component and staff development program for all staff.</li>
<li>Meet monthly with Director to review service delivery components and to provide feedback and input into staff development plans.</li>
<li>Provide ongoing feedback to the Director with regard to program initiatives, program philosophy, models, and approaches.</li>
<li>Assist Director and the Treatment Director to ensure program integrity.</li>
<li>Network with other community agencies to develop alternate resources for treatment support and aftercare.</li>
<li>Carry a small-specialized caseload, if necessary.</li>
<li>Conduct weekly treatment team meetings.</li>
<li>Implement core programs, quality assurance, and staff certifications, as generated by the agency Core Treatment Team.</li>
<li>Collect data to support research initiatives and treatment coordination schedules.</li>
<li>Participate as a member of the agency Core Treatment Team to • Provide input on program development (treatment and assessment). • Assist in the approval of program initiatives. • Generate certification requirements for coaches. • Assist with other quality assurance functions. • Assist in the development of an annual training schedule. • Conduct agency-wide training. • Present schedule of group program activities, progress notes, and outcome reports. • Access or provide certified/accredited training for staff in the areas of alcohol and drug counseling.</li>
<li>Participate as a member of the agency Research Outcome Committee.</li>
<li>Interact (verbally and non-verbally) with clients, staff, and community members professionally with respect and courtesy.</li>
<li>Maintain client and staff confidentiality in compliance with administrative policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings, supervisory conferences, and training sessions.</li>
