Pay Rate/Salary:
$25.00 – $28.00/hour, based on experience

Summary of Position/Job:
The ACME Set-Up Operator will set up and operate one or more intricate production machines, working within tight tolerances and planning operation sequences as needed. You will also support junior operators, perform minor machine repairs, and ensure part quality through routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities:

Set up and operate production machines with complex tooling requirements

Select appropriate speeds, feeds, tooling, and CAMS based on job specifications

Devise machining methods for new or challenging jobs

Perform part inspections using hand and bench gages

Load raw material and conduct preventative maintenance

Diagnose and resolve basic machine issues

Train and guide junior machine operators
-
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
-
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating Okuma Twin Star LT200, Nomura Swiss Turning Center, and/or Brother Mill Machining Center
-
Ability to read and interpret prints and specifications
-
Proficient with measurement tools and dimensional inspection
-
Strong mechanical aptitude for tool changes and basic machine adjustments

Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with heavy machinery

Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., and maneuvering around machinery

Compliance with all PPE and safety policies
