Job DescriptionAssociate Attorney Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our Insurance Defense team. The ideal candidate will assist in defending clients against insurance claims and will play a critical role in managing cases from inception through resolution. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates and legal strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop defense strategies and case plans.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in insurance defense or related legal field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in client communication is a plus.
