Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our Insurance Defense team. The ideal candidate will assist in defending clients against insurance claims and will play a critical role in managing cases from inception through resolution. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
- Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates and legal strategies.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop defense strategies and case plans.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in insurance defense or related legal field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in client communication is a plus.
