Position Overview
Reliance One is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead quality operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Quality Supervisor will drive compliance, oversee lab and production floor activities, and mentor quality staff to deliver excellence in customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities of the Quality Supervisor
- Lead and support the Gaging and EIT Lab, ensuring measurement accuracy, data integrity, and efficiency improvements.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with standard work instructions and quality procedures.
- Coach and mentor quality staff, including conducting performance reviews, training, and scheduling GP12 and floor auditors.
- Escalate and support resolution of out-of-control conditions with reaction plans and containment activities for customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and IATF 16949 standards.
- Support and participate in PFMEA reviews and updates.
- Use lab and measurement data to drive 8D problem-solving initiatives.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, inspection documents, and quality standards.
- Present weekly/monthly quality KPIs to plant and corporate leadership.
- Lead continuous improvement and scrap reduction efforts by analyzing quality data and identifying root causes.
Qualifications for the Quality Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of quality principles and practices.
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing employee relations, progressive discipline, and staff development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of automotive lab testing and equipment.
- Associate’s degree or technical degree in a related field.
