Ring & DuChateau is offering a paid summer internship for a college or graduate student pursuing electrical engineering. The internship will run for approximately 12 weeks in summer 2026, with flexibility to accommodate your academic schedule.
Ring & DuChateau is home to a team of 95+ engineers, designers, technicians, and support staff who are dedicated to engineering design and service excellence. We specialize in mechanical and electrical systems design, supported by planning, studies, and commissioning services. As an intern, you will:
- Collaborate with the electrical team to design lighting designs that combine aesthetics goals and functional performance.
- Participate in site visits to gather field data and verify existing electrical distribution conditions.
- Review reports, drawings, and test results to support project planning and design.
- Use engineering and design software to complete project assignments.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Architectural Engineering (electrical focus) or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Knowledge of electrical analysis software (Easy Power and AGI).
- Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
