About the Role:
The Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors at our corporate facility. This position involves performing a variety of janitorial duties that ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of indoor (and outdoor where requested) spaces. The Cleaner will be responsible for floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Additionally, the role requires adherence to safety procedures while operating machinery and using cleaning chemicals. Ultimately, the Cleaner contributes to the overall aesthetic and functional quality of the workplace, promoting a positive atmosphere for productivity.
Location(s) & Compensation:
- 5560 - Lankenau Med Center - Broomall, PA: Pays $15.00 per hour. Site is cleaned 5 days per week, Monday thru Friday from 5:00PM to 10:00PM (NO SATURDAY OR SUNDAY WORK PERMITTED)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable Transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles.
- Floor care experience & Floor care machine knowledge a plus
- Window cleaning experience a plus
Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of office spaces, exam rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Dusting
- Glass Cleaning
- Empty Trash
- Restocking Paper Products
- Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness and safety.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 10+ pounds regularly
- Bend, stretch, twist, reach above head, squat, walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Climb stairs
Skills: The required skills for this position, such as janitorial duties and floor care, are essential for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
