Camp Abe Lincoln is seeking a reliable, hard-working Custodian to support our facilities year-round and serve full-time during our busy summer camp season. This role ensures our camp stays clean, safe, and welcoming for campers, staff, and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain lodge, cabins, bathrooms, and shared areas
- Provide event clean-up before and after rentals and programs
- Support facility readiness during summer camp (full-time hours)
- Perform basic upkeep and help maintain a safe environment

- Ability to work independently and on a schedule
- Flexibility for evening/weekend event clean-up
- Someone who takes pride in creating a clean, positive space for all
Position Details:
- Year-round, part-time; full-time during summer
- Includes event-based scheduling outside camp season

We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility and adheres to our mission. Previous experience with cleaning preferred. The ability to work independently and hold self accountable as well as partner with co-workers to provide quality services required. Must have the ability to lift 50-75 pounds. Able to work with cleaning equipment, chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, spray and aerosol forms and perform essential cleaning functions
