We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to be an integral part of our close-knit team. You will provide overall support to our active litigation practice.

Responsibilities:

• Process medical authorizations
• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of discovery
• Preparing exhibits, trial binders and assisting in motion practice
• File court papers on NYSCEF and PACER
• Investigate facts to help in the defense of lawsuits
• Conduct research to support legal proceedings
• Assist with arrangements for depositions, IMEs and court appearances

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paralegal and New York Court system
• Familiarity with discovery, IMEs and authorizations
• Capable of recording billable time for tasks performed as per billing guidelines
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
