Heritage Auto Group is currently seeking a Service Technician to join our growing team! Please note that this is an in-person position located at one of our six dealership locations in Brigham City, UT; Evanston, WY; Vernal, UT; Tremonton, UT; North Logan, UT

Job Summary:
The responsibilities of a Service Technician include diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles. They will have an ASE certificate and great communication skills.

Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Requirements – Ford Certified Technician
- Current Ford certification through the Ford STARS program (or verifiable manufacturer training).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician (Ford dealership experience preferred).
- Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Ford vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, engine performance, brakes, steering & suspension, and HVAC.
- Familiarity with Ford diagnostic tools and software.
- Ability to complete Ford web-based and instructor-led training modules to maintain certification.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school training or ASE certifications are a plus.
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Capable of maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Willingness to stay current on evolving Ford technologies including hybrid and EV systems.
