Job DescriptionLHH has partnered with a great firm who is looking to add to their legal team in Portland. This hybrid role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in both federal and state court litigation as a Senior Litigation Paralegal. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with exceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of legal procedures and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file legal documents in state and federal courts, including e-filing.

Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.

Manage case calendars, deadlines, and court schedules.

Create and maintain trial binders, exhibit lists, and witness files.

Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating logistics.

Conduct legal and factual research using online databases and court records.

Summarize depositions, medical records, and other case-related documents.

Coordinate with clients, experts, and witnesses.

Maintain case files and document management systems.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 10 years of litigation paralegal experience, with a strong emphasis on trial support.

Extensive knowledge of Oregon/Washington state, and Federal court rules and procedures.

Proven experience with binder creation and trial preparation.

Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Relativity, CaseMap, Westlaw, PACER).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
