A-Line Staffing is recruiting for a full time permanent CNC Mill Operator / Machinist in Clinton Township, MI. They are offering a generous compensation and a full benefit package.

Afternoon shift

Salary – Compensation $21.00 - $28.00 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)

Mill full programmer / & operator - $27-33

3 yrs experience in CNC milling operations (multi-axis experience preferred).

Job Summary:
The CNC Mill Operator/Machinist plays a critical role in the production of machined parts by setting up and operating multi-axis milling machines. This individual must be proficient in tool selection, fixture setup, and part inspection while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and run CNC milling machines, including vertical and horizontal mills, to produce precision parts according to CAD/CAM programs and blueprints.
• Read and interpret detailed technical drawings, engineering instructions, and work orders to determine setup requirements and production sequences.
• Load machine programs and perform necessary edits to ensure machining accuracy and adherence to tolerances.
• Secure workpieces using clamps, vises, or fixtures; adjust tools and offsets based on inspection results.
• Conduct regular quality checks throughout the machining process using precision measuring instruments to verify critical dimensions and surface finishes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to reduce machine downtime.
• Record production data accurately, noting part dimensions, tool life, and machine performance.
• Communicate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and tooling performance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or trade school certification in machining a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in CNC milling operations (multi-axis experience preferred).
• Proficient in blueprint reading, GD&T, and working with tight tolerances (±.0005").
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens controls is highly desirable.
• Capable of working from minimal instructions and with complex part geometries.

• 2023 HAAS VF3 CNC Machining Center (20” X 25” X 40” Table) Equipped with 4th Axis Rotary
• IF THEY RUN CAD SOFTWARE, SRS RUNS MASTERCAM 2025
