We are looking for a motivated HVAC Apprentice to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, especially Rooftop Units (RTUs). Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, with a focus on rooftop units.
- Support aerial lift operations and rigging under supervision for elevated installations.
- Help with routine and preventive maintenance to ensure system performance.
- Learn to identify and troubleshoot basic issues in air conditioning systems.
- Work closely with experienced technicians to understand repair strategies and techniques.
- Follow safety guidelines and industry regulations during all tasks.
- Keep records of service activities, including parts used and work performed.
- Stay informed about new HVAC technologies and best practices.
- Gain exposure to systems ranging from 2 to 100 tons.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Interest in HVAC systems and mechanical work.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians.
- Ability to work safely and follow procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation:
$18/hr to $22/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
