About Our Client:
Addison Group is hiring a Paralegal on behalf of our client. This role supports real estate transactions by preparing documents, managing files, conducting title research, and ensuring accurate electronic filings.
Job Description:
The Paralegal will assist with all stages of commercial real estate transactions, including drafting loan documents, maintaining organized files, and performing online filings. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organize, and maintain commercial real estate transaction files and databases.
- Draft and review routine legal documents, including notes, mortgages, and UCCs.
- Conduct online title research to support transactions.
- Electronically file documents with recording offices and other relevant agencies.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance throughout all transactional processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a paralegal, preferably in real estate transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate required.
- Strong document and file management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
