Job Description
Home Instead of Spokane is searching for a confident, in-home caregiver for a local veteran. You must be willing to spend time getting to know the client and follow procedures. Does this sound like you? If so, we would love to meet you!
Pay & Perks
- Base Pay: $18.13 – $20.63 per hour (based on care type and HCA status)
- Travel Pay: $16.66/hr for time between client visits
- Same day pay via Pay Active
- Bonuses (referral and performance based)
Your Schedule
- Quick, flexible shifts available 7 days a week
- Choose from morning and evening shifts (9am – 11am and 5pm – 7pm)
- Minimum of 20+ hours/week (must include one weekend day)
- Part time or full time hours available
Do You Qualify?
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be HCA/CNA certified or willing to learn (we will train you!)
- Have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- Be available to work at least one weekend day
- Be fluent in English
Your Responsibilities
Every client is unique, but your responsibilities may include:
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Assist with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and toileting
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Support mobility and ensure safe movement
