Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of acute rehab experience and a current Nevada OT license for a Tuesday-Saturday day shift assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position is based in an acute rehab setting
- Work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts
- Required to provide care to behavioral health patients as needed
- Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team providing occupational therapy evaluation and treatment
- Perform detailed clinical assessments and develop individualized plans of care following physician referral
- Required to document patient treatment accurately and appropriately
- Must respond effectively to new and changing work assignments
- AHA certifications only are accepted
- Active license required at the time of consideration; pending licenses are not accepted
\n \n Requirements\n
- Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in Nevada required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of acute rehab OT experience in a U.S. hospital
- Bachelor's degree from an AOTA-accredited program required; Master's degree highly desired
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- CPI certification required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility; no local candidates allowed
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred from within the last 12 months, including one from the most recent employer
- U.S. Social Security Number required
