Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyze cases of potential financial crimes, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for German-speaking clients regarding inquiries related to financial crime prevention and compliance.
  • Identify suspicious activities and patterns for thorough reporting to management and relevant authorities.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that minimize financial crime risks.
  • Document investigations accurately, maintaining confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in financial crime legislation and best practices.
  • Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights and suggesting improvements to processes and operations.

Requirements

  • Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail when scrutinizing data and patterns.
  • Experience in financial crime prevention, compliance, or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing customer relations.
  • Capacity to work autonomously while also being a key player within a team.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and anti-financial crime measures is preferred.
  • Willingness to relocate to Athens and adapt to a multicultural environment.
