Role Overview:

As the Retail Office Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Farmers Insurance retail store in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. This includes managing a team, creating and managing budgets, and ensuring that excellent customer service is consistently provided. This role is full-time and on-site, with a direct impact on the operational efficiency and customer experience within the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the retail store, including managing office workflows, client interactions, and team productivity.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of employees, ensuring that each member is well-trained, motivated, and working efficiently to meet goals.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for the retail office, ensuring profitability while maintaining high levels of customer service.

  • Organizational & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent at organizing tasks and solving problems in a fast-paced retail setting.
  • Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to work with people, build relationships, and lead by example.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in retail management or a related field is required.
  • Insurance Industry Experience (Bonus): Experience in the insurance industry is a plus but not mandatory.
