Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
\n
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours (must be specified on submission)
\n• 13-week assignment length
\n• Weekend requirements: every other weekend as required by facility
\n• No call requirements
\n• Patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
\n• Float to any department with similar or lower acuity when needed
\n• 2 years of stepdown experience required
\n• Must have stepdown or ICU experience, post-op care, BiPAP, cardiac drips, time management, and critical thinking skills
\n• Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
\n• Work with EMR system EPIC
\n• Care for post-op patients (high acuity surgeries), trauma patients, and high acuity medical patients
\n• Dress code: black scrubs required
\n• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1
\n• Utilize nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
\n• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
