Job Summary:
The Site Supervisor will manage a small to mid-sized team of persons responsible for meeting contractual requirements for the maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation of building interiors and exteriors, which may include grounds maintenance and related services. They will provide training and daily supervision, including, but not limited to, proper cleaning and custodial procedures, safe use of manually operated tools, electrically-powered machines, cleaning compounds, solvents, and chemicals. The supervisor will perform daily inspections and quality control of work to ensure company and contract standards are met.

Job Duties:
· Trains staff for onboarding, initial, daily, and annual training requirements, as directed
· Ensures all contractual requirements are being met
· Conducts regular inventories, requests supplies, and issues supplies and equipment to team members
· Understands federal contracts, OSHA and company standards as an expert in the field, to ensure appropriate safety and hazard rules are being enforced
· Positively communicates and mentors persons of different disabilities
· Draft reports on activities, including incident reports, to Area Manager and other corporate leadership
· Must be fully fluent in English
· Knowledge and Use of cleaning equipment, including automatic floor machines, commercial vacuums, wet mops, large wringers, and other necessary equipment, tools, chemicals, and supplies
· Work with government officials in a professional manner as a daily activity of the position
· This position requires an on-site work schedule
· Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
Working Conditions:
· Possible frequent exposure to heat, sun for extended periods of time
· Possible exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, and various infectious diseases
· Possible exposure to uncomfortable noise levels and vibration of the body or extremities
Requirements:
Required Experience & Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years old.
· High School Diploma or G.E.D.
· Must maintain a current certification in Advanced Custodial Technician from the Cleaning Management Institute (CMI), or equivalent; or, must successfully complete training within 90-calendar days of the start date
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the past 5 years managing and supervising custodial and grounds maintenance crews
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the past 5 years managing and related services in building(s) of similar size and complexity (minimum of 100,00 square feet, minimum of 3 floors and executive offices)
· Read, write, and communicate effectively in English
· Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and methods of janitorial work
· The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
· The ability to move and lift between 25 to 50 pounds
· Climb ladders up to 20 feet high
· The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
· Be able to pass a background check and drug screening requirements as required by contract and company standards
