We are looking for a skilled OT Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and monitoring cybersecurity measures for Operational Technology (OT) environments. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams to ensure security best practices are upheld.


Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee cybersecurity solutions tailored to Operational Technology environments.

• Act as a trusted advisor to engineering teams and manufacturing plants, providing guidance on security protocols.

• Monitor industrial control systems for vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents.

• Develop and implement risk assessment programs to identify and address potential cybersecurity threats.

• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to establish incident reporting and response systems for OT breaches.

• Participate in cross-functional project meetings to align security deliverables with engineering goals.

• Validate post-project designs to ensure compliance with established OT cybersecurity standards.

• Configure and manage virtualized server environments, including VMware and Hyper-V platforms.

• Support the design and implementation of industrial network architectures, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VLANs.

• Apply cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as ISA 62443, to OT systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field (equivalent work experience may substitute for education).
• At least 3 years of experience in IT network management or OT systems.
• Proficiency in IT/OT technologies, including Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with industrial network design, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VLANs.
• Knowledge of common cybersecurity threats such as ransomware and denial-of-service attacks, and mitigation techniques.
• Strong understanding of the Purdue model and its application to OT security.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco routers, and Cisco ASA.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
